Today its time for The Jungle Book. This movie is my mothers favourite and so it holds a special place in my heart because of that. It is a film that I have not watched for a long time also but have seen sooooo many times and there really are a lot of good songs in it...
I did watch Pinocchio at the weekend and the story was nothing like I remembered...some bits, which stuck with me as a child, such as turning into donkeys and the puppet song are the memories my child brain held onto but watching it as an adult it was less scary and really quite random! The story jumped all over the place with know central thread really, but the one major thing I noticed...FIGARO!! He pretty much has a large part in the film and I am wondering how we all forgot the poor kitty....hehehe...
Anyway, back to the Jungle Book...what is my favourite song, hmmm, I wanna be like you - oo - oo...or I'm the king of the swingers...or Kaa's Trust in me....or ....the elephants on parade?
Or the classic...
My favourite character is Bagheera (aka Baggy)...do you have a favourite song or character? I know there is a Jungle Book 2 but i've not seen that, have you?
Now some Jungle Book themes crafts..
Hama beads are a craft that I am not quite sold on...
However you can use Hama/Perler bead patterns for very basic cross stitch.
How about a Baloo crochet hat? I think this is pretty cool actually.
Or an adorable elephant?
This is not a craft but....you know how I like to bend the rules...I am undecided and have been on the fence about tsum-tsums since their release...I have seen that this set is going to be out this year (could be out already) and it doesnt convince me! I always thing I should collect something but don't....do you collect anything? Do you collect tsum-tsums?
Ok....wait a minute...theres a cinderella collection of tsum tsums...and ohhh....

DeleteLove this movie - I don't remember how many times I watched it when I first got the video. I see there is a live action Jungle Book about to come out that looks like it might be worth going to see.
