Inspiration!

Ok, so how are you all?

I am ok...actually I am better than ok as I have been struck with inspiration! Hey! Who ducked?

Some of you who have been in this blogging adventure as long as I have may remember Christmas 2012...was it really that long ago? I wrote a story over twelve days leading up to Christmas about a couple in love. Nick and Sarah. I loved that story although I'm not sure I'm allowed to say that as I wrote it but...what I loved was the characters and especially Nick. Ah yes? Who can forget his attempts at romance which left him falling flat on his face and gradually chipping away at our hearts until we too shared Sarah's opinion of him and thought he was adorable.

Some of you may only remember as far back as Christmas 2014 when Nick and Sarah once again shared their story with us as they prepared for the birth of their first child and Nick went to dog training school. Not because he's a dog but because they had a dog! Lol

Well with Christmas fast approaching and  after last years fatigue, I feel it's time...to have some more cheesy Christmas romance! I know rom-com isn't for everyone but c'mon...it's Christmas! So watch out for that coming soon!

Do you remember Nick & Sarah?

Catch up soon x

Quick link for introverts

So as I sit here waiting for the time to leave to meet my coffee date...I came across this...

I thought of all us introverts and I think the point about how we seem to focus on our negatives instead of positives was quite apt!

So just so you all know and are in no doubt..:

YOU ARE FRICKIN AWESOME!

Now go have some great weekend ;)

Top 10 things to leave on a desert island!

Well, with my time keeping of late I think that I should be one of the things left on there!

I do promise to get back to Tuesday's once I get settled into a routine.

I am behind in so much but IHSW weekend will hopefully help me turn that all around! I have two ornaments to stitch as I never finished my angel!

Anyway, these will be short and sweet but straight from the heart...

Top 10 things to leave on a desert island...

1. Me right now! I'm so flakey.
2. Sweetcorn, I can't even begin to explain the visceral hatred that I have for this vegetable...it has to go!
3. Mushrooms, I am not keen so why not join the sweetcorn? I'm mean but I'm not heartless! Lol vegetables together...awe
4. Tights! Just because anyone who read about my first date will know they tried to shame me!
5. Butterflies - those things are creepy & would appreciate a desert island more.
6.
7.
8.
9.
10.

Ok, so i am missing five things from the list, I really thought I hated more stuff than I do.

So I shall come back and add things when they occur to me!

So go check out keebs and tiffs lists!

Top 10 things to take with you to a desert island (#12)

Top 10 things to take to a desert island (#12)

Hello...oh come on! Don't look at me like that...I know its late...I know I haven't updated the topics on the left-hand side (I will, so keep an eye on them! Did you? They are on the right now :p) but its been one of those weeks...I know last week was one of those weeks but that excuse is relevant this week too! So I shall stop complaining and get writing because I have another few posts to write after this one. The subject matter of those is more of an 'adult' theme so please only read the Top 10 by clicking on the tab beneath the header or craft related or anything related as I don't want to offend anyone but this blog has always been a jumble of everything that ever crossed my mind and soooo I decided to keep it all together. But in all seriousness please select your topic above instead of just reading the homepage feed.

So....here we go...

I decided that I would not include practical things and would assume that I landed on the island of the Swiss Family Robinson and they had recently moved out...leaving me with accommodation and implements.

1. I would need music...so a solar powered mp3 player with a million songs from all genres! Would I even be able to listen to them all? I would never get bored and always discover something new. I must start my desert island discs playlist!

2. An inflatable bed thingy, a lilo is it? For floating away the days.

3. A laptop for writing on.

4. My cat of course

5. A sun hat - one of those huge ones like a flying saucer...

6. Kindle with a million books split 50/50 between fiction and non-fiction

7. A sun bed for laying on the beach on.

8. A solar powered camera

9. Stitchy stash

10. chocolate!

What items would you take with you? I have purposely left off family members or being able to communicate with anyone with the only exception being my cat.

Don't forget to check out Keebles and Tiffs lists :) and remember to tab to the right subject tab if you come back later!
