Hey Everyone,
So how are you settling into the new year?
I started off quite well stitchy wise...I bought a magazine last year and it had a free Durene Jones calendar, and I decided I would stitch the motifs throughout this year as they are quick stitches.
This is January's design....
I decided to tweak it so it was more me...but is a nice quick stitch and I am hopeful that I will be able to complete the rest throughout the year. Here is my doggy (I have not yet added the snowflakes or shadows).
After this I began another new start...QS Hear no Evil by Jasmine Beckett Griffith and as you can see my nights progress is not much...
I say night because that is when I have a chance to stitch and in October I started a Facebook group called 'Stitching the Night Away', there are only 7 of us so far but feel free to request to join and I will add you :)
I have not yet made a list of my goals for this year or even this month but Sunday's update will hopefully be more enlightening, what one project are you looking forward to working on?
Keebs from Keebles World mentioned restarting Top 10 Tuesdays but with 5 instead, so look out for that, I shall post a theme list on Sunday too and hope you will join in :) I love getting to know you all.

Morning! Yes, I know that my blog design is yet to change but there is still more time :) I was going to wait but I was so damn excited :)))...
Love your new start, and the dachshund is cute!
ReplyDeleteI was given a Dimensions Santa kit for Christmas so I'm looking forward to getting my needle stuck into it.
Nice! I like Santa designs. I look forward to seeing your progress.
DeleteI think it's pretty wonderful progress! I will say though, especially with the Jasmine HAEDs, the really only fun part is the person and not the background!
ReplyDeleteThat's true! Last night I stitched some more and I feel like I'm making progress. Onlybthis page to do until I reach the girl so that's good motivation.
DeleteGreat start! And love the finish on the dog too. Very nice colour changes. I've sent my request to join your group. :)
ReplyDeleteHey Tiff thanks and welcome :)
ReplyDeleteLove the little dachshund! I think it takes a LOT of stitching to see much progress in a HAED - that's a very good start.
ReplyDeleteThanks Bea, yes it definitely does! But ill get there I hope :)
DeleteThe dachshund is adorable and great start on your HAED! (I really admire anyone that works on HAED pieces.)
ReplyDeleteOh I work on them, and am great at starting...finishing is something else altogether 😂
