I have only seen the movie once and as much as I can remember her mother was really nice.

Or how about styling your hair (hehe...or daughter/granddaughters) the same?

I've never seen it, but the hair looks fun! And a crown would be easy to do too.

It's Disney's first Scottish princess, so I feel obligated to love it and there are aspects about it that I do love, especially Merida herself, but the old-school Disneyphile expects a sequel where she finally meets a worthy prince and lives happily ever after.

DeleteOne of the Reasons I love this movie is because it doesn't center around Merida finding "true love" and she rebels against what is expected of her. Her happiness will not be defined by her man. If they "sequel" this with that ending it will ruin the whole story. Just my opinion.

DeleteEnjoyed the movie very much and a lot of that was Merida wasn't the stereotypical Disney princess.
