Happy New Year!

Hello,

Its been way too long! I have so much I never told you all and I kept telling myself I would get to blog next week or the next week and it never happened and that was when I decided to just wait, have a blogging vacation (my first since I started really) and start afresh in January.

I have still been stitching though, but all my other bits and bobs not so much, but I have such great plans (at least to me they seem that way) for 2017 and will remain optimistic.

My first steps are to write myself some decent lists! As you fellow creatives know there are about a thousand ideas swimming around inside my head and choosing what to focus on is hard for me, i've never been great at picking one thing and working solely on that without distraction. Variety has always been my friend.

What I can tell you is that I somehow need to manage my time more effectively, as I have stitching targets/projects I would like to do, a brand new dollshouse project, I want to write again this year as I have missed that too, then there is the wanting to get out more (not easy to craft and hobby away whilst out hiking!) and I have a boyfriend now (shock of the year)! and like most of you I imagine, we have so much to do in such little time. Unlike some of you I don't have children, so I can't say that's a reason, so I pretty much do not have a valid excuse for not being able to do everything this year.

In reality, I will probably not complete all that I want to this year but I like to have an idea of what I want to achieve and at least then I can at least manage to complete at least one of my goals.

I really am not sure how 2017 will be...a blog will follow and hopefully I will have spruced up the design of it when it does.

So, I wish you all a happy 2017 and hope that it brings you all health and happiness xx

  3. I'm always willing to start back with Top 5 Tuesdays (I think 10 might be too many), if you're game and can't wait to see your stitching. BTW...nice to have you back in the blog world! Here's to a MUCH better 2017!
