May Day! May Day! May Day! this is the Suddenly Kate Show!

Its May!

There is no more April Blogging Challenge and here we all are on the other side. I learnt a lot about myself during this time too and I think it has been a positive experience and I have really loved it.

All Change

When I signed up earlier in the year with the blog name 'Suddenly Seeking', I had hoped to discover some new and interesting blogs. I have discovered new and interesting blogs, inspiring people, great writers and fascinating stories. It has been more than I thought it would be. I even had a blog name change to 'The Suddenly Kate Show' which came about by accident on the 'R' post but makes perfect sense.

Deadlines

I am not by nature a competitive person but when Arlee put the idea into my head that I should reach 100 followers I saw it as a target with a deadline. I have read posts in April about deadlines and even commented on how important they are for me, but it is only now that I realise how much.  I initially scoffed at the thought of getting to 100 but as I got closer I wanted to achieve that. At 10pm on 30th April - I did! So, thank you to everyone who helped me with my numbers, I really appreciate it and I even resorted to asking my crafty blogging friends to follow me here too! They did and have proved what great people bloggers are. Anyway, maybe I shouldn't have told you that bit but there you have it.

I feel like I owe you some better posts :D

The observant among you will have noticed that the background to my blog (my handcrafted felt letters, lol) has gone and it is now just a blank page. Over the next couple of days I will be redesigning my blog's layout and background and getting ready for my

'New York Review Series'.

It is a 10-part travel series starting on 3rd May 2012. I will be posting the travel side on Thursdays and on Mondays I will post a movie review (the film must be set in NYC). They will take a similar format to my previous posts and hopefully they will be informative, interesting and a teensy weensy bit funny.

So, lastly...

Congratulations!!

to everyone who made it to the end and I will be catching up with you all soon so watch out!
