New Start #8 for 50th Year Challenge

This weeks new start is...

This was one I hadn't realised I had in my stash until I finally went through it all, I had also put aside some green fabric to stitch it in, its a bright apple green with some swirls and I cannot for the life of me get a photo of it where it doesnt look washed out.

I am stitching 2 over 2 and as you can see my current progress is pretty poor as I was using the skein of floss I had to hand in the right colour, I do need to sort them out and do some more as I enjoy Joan elliott designs because they always turn out well. 

This photo is not great at all, even the thread colours are not true. Ah well, at least you can see whats done in terms of quantity.  I look forward to picking this up again but need to check the colours.
