New Start #5 for 50th Year Challenge

 Hey,

New Start #5 is due to start tomorrow but I am slightly ahead in that I picked up a new start on Sunday night.

Why? That will be because I wasnt too much of a fan of New Start #4 and I think thats totally on me, I should have used normal colours. 

Anyway, I find that if I don't stitch my mojo can run off, so I needed to pick something up and yes, you are right if you are thinking that I should have chosen to finish new start #3 but I am not too big on sensible. I do plan to give all my starts some more love in the coming weeks.

So what did I choose for new start #5...

It is a kit, I have all of them I think, and have completed two so I grabbed the next one I was feeling.

It is Dimensions Tree Ornament. It is stitched on plastic canvas with the provided threads.

Angel

Train

I stitched the Train as a gift for my son and just need to back it with felt and add something for it to hang from, then I picked up the Angel. I really like tree decorations on the plastic canvas as they come out so well and look good for a long time. I made three before using Joan Elliott charts and every year I look at them and am impressed.

Joan does have three more ornaments that go with these, they are from a book of hers Christmas Treasures

You can see wher I carried the red behind but dont worry as I always make sure that its not anywhere that will show once the other colours are in.
