New Start #7 for 50th Year Challenge

I hope you have all had a good week.

I had a new start yesterday, which on  the old schedule would be number 8 but since I decided to change the challenge slightly, then it is number 7.

What did I pick?

Its called: Big Cat Eye Melting Muse (its a mouthful of  a title!)

I am stitching it on (what I think is) 25ct aida easy guide, 2 over 2 full cross.

I just wanted to start with blocks of colour and the first lot was in the panther eyes (939). I did actually start of doing 2 over 1 tent and I did not like it, so sized up to 2 over 2. As its a dark colour, you can see the fabric more than lighter colours, I am not too sure about whether I think its ok or not but have decided to carry on regardless. The picture of my current progress below is really very bad, what was I thinking/doing, but here it is all the same...

This is the start of the dark cokiurs beneath the leopard, and you can see that there is another dark colour in there that surrounds the dripping paint look between eyes. Also note that the fabric is not that yellowy cream in reality. Its the lighting.
